Rebekah Maciorowski’s Independence Day Fundraiser
Rebekah Maciorowski is an American nurse serving as a combat medic and sergeant with the 2nd Mechanized Battalion of Ukraine’s 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade. She operates a frontline medical stabilization point in Donetsk Oblast, providing medical care, coordinating evacuations, training soldiers, and managing the supplies needed to sustain frontline medical operations.
Recently, Beka’s unit lost its primary evacuation vehicle in a strike by a fiber-optic drone. Although everyone survived, the loss of the vehicle also resulted in the loss of critical medical supplies and equipment.
This fundraiser is being organized on Beka’s behalf by 1019.ch and Beka’s Swiss Fellas.

Process:
Beka has very little free time, so we ask that participants carefully follow the donation instructions provided above.
Philipp from Beka’s Swiss Fellas will collect and verify information related to donations. Winners will be contacted via social media or email. Donors who make an IBAN transfer will not be contacted directly; instead, their prizes will be mailed to the address associated with the bank transfer. If you have any questions, you can contact Philipp at swiss4beka@mail.ch.
Collecting addresses and T-shirt sizes will take some time. T-shirt production will then take approximately two additional weeks. As a result, prizes will likely reach eligible recipients only in October. T-shirts and patches will be shipped separately.

1019.ch is the Ukraine Aid Initiative of the Swiss Student Association. For 2026 they have committed to support Beka with medical supplies every month. All the money collected in this fundraiser will go to Beka or used to buy supplies she requests, above and beyond 1019’s existing commitment.
Beka’s Swiss Fellas are a group of private Swiss citizens that support the medics of the 53rd Mechanized Brigade.
