Donations for Ukraine

Why 1019.ch
We chose the name 1019 because it is exactly 1019 kilometers from Zurich to the Ukrainian border. Only 1019 kilometers that decide whether you sit contentedly in your warm room or have to fear for your possessions, your freedom, your life and the life of your loved ones.

Who we are
The campaign was initiated by the student association AB Glanzenburger from Zurich in collaboration with the Swiss Student Association, to which over 6,000 active and former students belong. Our principles include friendship and solidarity, values that must transcend national borders in the current situation. More about the initiators

What happens with the donation
For this campaign, we are working together with Marcel Kübler’s organization Ukrainehilfe mit Herz and are coordinating our help with the student association Obnova Lviv 🇺🇦, which is very familiar with the situation in Ukraine and has been in contact with them for a long time. In this way, we guarantee that the donations arrive quickly and reliably in the form of urgently needed goods. More about the course of action
