Our deliveries
Delivery October 2024
From October 17 to 20, we were on the road with a shipment consisting of generators, large batteries, medical supplies and warm clothes for the upcoming winter. On Thursday, we left eastern Switzerland for Katowice in Poland. On Friday, we crossed the border to Lviv, where we handed over the goods to our friends and posted all the relief supplies destined for eastern Ukraine. On Saturday we spent the day in Lviv with many interesting conversations before crossing the border again in the evening and returning to Switzerland on Sunday. It was great to meet our Ukrainian friends in person again. Their courage, their perseverance and their positive attitude – despite all the difficulties – never fail to impress us.
Delivery in June 2024
Our aid delivery worth CHF 68,000 was a great success. We were able to deliver many generators, ecoflows and other urgently needed goods to hospitals, field hospitals and first aid centers. Special thanks once again go to Marcel for his courage and commitment on his 43rd trip to Ukraine.
Delivery in June 2024
In June 2024, Marcel and three of his drivers were once again able to transport a lot of care materials, generators, large batteries and first aid equipment to Kharkiv and Sumy in the very east of Ukraine. Accompanied by numerous air raids, they met many people who have been fighting for Ukraine every day for over two years – whether as paramedics, doctors or in a nursing home behind the front line.
Blankets, generators and medicine – early 2024
At the end of January and beginning of February, we were again able to deliver several generators, many blankets, tourniquets and numerous medical supplies to help people through the cold Ukrainian winter.
Delivery in January 2024 and meeting with Ukrainian friends
At the beginning of January, we (Martin Fussen v/o Monty and Markus Schmid v/o Ferment) personally went to Ukraine with a delivery of aid. In total, we covered almost 4,000 kilometers to hand over various relief supplies to our contacts and good friends in the Ukrainian cities of Lviv and Ternopil. The delivery consisted mainly of generators and energy storage units, but also included many blankets, thermal underwear and heat pads. The relief supplies were urgently needed after the severe attacks on New Year’s Day. As in the previous winter, the increasing bombardment of the electricity infrastructure led to prolonged power cuts. This meant that small hospitals and troop medics in particular had to rely on mobile emergency power generators to operate on wounded soldiers and treat patients. We were deeply impressed by the gratitude of our friends and their confidence despite the difficult situation.
Christmas presents for traumatized children
Shortly before Christmas, we were able to help give presents to 150 children in a trauma center near Kharkiv. Marcel from Ukrainehilfe mit Herz brought the children toys, sweets and school materials that our colleagues from From Basel with Love had previously collected and packed in Basel. The children’s smiles, after all the terrible experiences of recent years, are a great Christmas present for us.
Deliveries August until the beginning of October 2023
From August to the beginning of October, we brought five large shipments to Ukraine. Among them was a shipment of medicines containing 4.5 tons of ibuprofen. The five deliveries went mostly to eastern Ukraine, to military hospitals, doctors and hospitals. As always, our thanks go especially to Marcel and “Ukrainehilfe mit Herz” for the great cooperation and the transport of three of the five deliveries. We would also like to thank all our partners in Switzerland and Ukraine, without whom these regular deliveries would be unthinkable.
Deliveries June and July 2023
In the summer months of June and July, we brought several deliveries to Lviv, Ternopil, Kiev, Kharkiv and Sumy, and also sent some medicines and tourniquets directly by mail to people in need. A big thank you to all our helpers in Switzerland and Ukraine. Especially to Natalya, her father and uncle, Claudia and her team from “From Basel with Love” Marcel and Michelle Kübler from “Ukrainehilfe mit Herz”, Rolf and Mila.
Emergency delivery to Kherson
At the beginning of June 2023, we provided emergency aid together with https://www.ukrainehilfemitherz.ch/ and https://www.frombaselwithlove.ch/ after the floods in Ukraine around the city of Kherson
On Tuesday, June 6, the Kakhovka dam in the Kherson war zone in southern Ukraine was destroyed. The water masses of the outflowing reservoir submerged numerous villages along the Dnipro River and soon reached the large city of Kherson. Through our meanwhile more than one year of help in Ukraine, we from Aktion 1019.ch have been able to establish many contacts to Ukrainians and so it did not take long until the first calls for help reached us from the Kherson region. Particularly in demand were chemicals to treat drinking water, inflatable boats, pumps and underwater drones to locate mines swept up and displaced by the floods. A race against time began and already on June 13, 2023 we were able to hand over the organized goods to the helpers of the local fire department and disaster organization. A big thank you to the Stans Fire Department and the organization https://ambulance-relief.org/ for the donations as well as https://www.switlo.ch/ for the vehicle provided.
Deliveries April and May 2023
In May, we worked strongly with our friends from the association “From Basel With Love” and were already able to send school supplies to numerous children who had to flee within Ukraine. In addition, we delivered many medicines, a large load of saline solution and some first aid materials as well as tools and large batteries.
Deliveries March and April 2023
In addition to the “usual” medicines, bandages, generators and batteries, we were able to deliver a complete incubator to a children’s hospital in Kherson and a whole carload of syringes, needles and swabs to five different hospitals, military hospitals and medical practices. And by the way, this time Marcel was allowed to travel to Ukraine in the emergency ambulance and leave it there as a donation.
Deliveries February and March 2023
We also delivered various goods again at the end of February and beginning of March 2023. This time to two military hospitals, an organization that cares for people with disabilities, a children’s hospital and an emergency doctor.
Deliveries January and February 2023
In January and early February 2023, we delivered over CHF 120,000 worth of relief supplies to various locations and to many of our local contacts in Ukraine. The focus of these deliveries was on generators and large batteries.
Support for Obnova aid projects
Since the beginning of the war, we have always been able to support aid projects of the Obnova Lviv Student Union. Here are a few impressions of how our relief supplies were used in 2022.
Personal delivery end 2022
From 27 to 29 December we were personally on the road with a delivery. From Allschwil we went via Katowice in Poland to the Polish-Ukrainian border, where shortly after the border crossing we were able to hand over relief supplies worth about CHF 30,000 to three colleagues of the relief organization “BONUM”. Our colleagues then took the various relief supplies to Lviv, from where they were further distributed to Kharkiv, Kherson, Ternopil and Kiev. This time, the supplies included two much-needed ultrasound machines, 100 warm blankets, eight generators, power stations, sleeping bags and medicine.
Delivery beginning of December 2022
At the beginning of December, we combined a total of four deliveries to Kharkiv, Lviv, Kherson and Odessa and were thus able to bring goods worth approximately CHF 33,000 to Ukraine.
Large deliveries at the end of November
At the end of November we were allowed to bring many goods to Lviv, Kiev and Kharkiv. An important part of the supplies were power generators, power banks with extremely high capacity, as well as warm blankets and sleeping bags.
Report Kharkiv Tour (20 minutes)
On the tour to Kharkiv from the beginning of October 2022 Marcel Kübler was accompanied by a journalist from 20 minutes. The result is an impressive two-part video reportage.

Large delivery at the beginning of November
At the beginning of November we were able to bring a large shipment to Sumy, Kharkiv, Lviv and Kiev. In addition to surgical equipment for a hospital in Sumy, we again supplied power generators, sleeping bags, solar panels, a device for automatic heart massage, operating tables and much more.
Large equipment for hospitals in Kharkiv
At the end of August we were able to supply hospitals in Kharkiv for a second time. This time we supplied a complete anesthesia ward, as well as other surgical equipment for treating wounded patients. A very big Merci to all involved.
Surgical sutures
In mid-August we were able to deliver surgical sutures and needles in large numbers to hospitals and military hospitals near the front.
Medicines for a maternity hospital
At the end of July, we were able to deliver urgently needed medicines for a maternity hospital in the Kharkiv region.
Delivery of surgical equipment to Kharkiv
We were able to deliver various medical and surgical equipment to Kharkiv Oblast Hospital, Department of Surgery and Department of “Urgent Surgery and Traumatic Shock”. A big thank you to all our partners in Kharkiv, in the transport and procurement of the equipment. The help was urgently needed.
This was the best humanitarian aid we have received since the war began.

Supply of power generators
Since the power supply can no longer be guaranteed in all parts of the country, we have delivered a total of seven gasoline-powered electricity generators with a total output of approximately 20,000 watts to Ukraine. They are used in hospitals, military hospitals and domestic refugee centers. The transport was done by our good colleagues from ukrainehilfemitherz.ch.
Support of the connection “Aquila
Aquila Varadinensis Oradea (Romania) has taken in various refugee Ukrainian families and supports them with food and daily necessities. We help Aquila in their efforts with a monthly donation.
Delivery for the Children’s Hospital Chernivtsi
At the end of March 2022, we participated in a relief delivery for the Children’s Hospital in Chernivtsi. Many thanks to our partners from the Niederösterreichischen Mittelschüler Kartellverband (NÖMKV) and especially Kbr. Orbis for the organization and execution of the successful delivery.
Packaging in Vienna
In the first two weeks of March 2022, we started deliveries from Vienna, where they were organized and packed by our partners at Austria Sagitta. The focus of the first deliveries was on medicines, medical products and hygiene articles.
While some delivery was brought into the country through the distribution channels of the Ukrainian Catholic Church, another could be handed over directly to representatives of Obnova Lviv at the Ukrainian-Polish border, who then took care of the fine distribution.
The first deliveries quickly showed that the cooperation of color-wearing students across national borders is proving to be very successful.
